Good evening, hope all is well. This week we had referrals to my office from middle school that i want to make you all aware of, the first is Vape Pens, students have seen students with this device & passing it to other students to smoke; and the other is Cyber Bullying on Social media sites like Instagram and TikTok, please monitor your child/ren's bags & phones. These are important topics because these go against our school policies and students can be suspended for this.

Message from Principal Irowena Whitehair. Good evening parents/guardians of CCS, February is coming to a close as I have started my 7th week of being Principal here at CCS. We just got reading and math interim test completed for 3rd-8th graders. WIDA testing was completed as well for Kindergarten through 8th grades. However, please be ready for the 5th and 8th grade Science test coming up in March; and the reading and math Spring (big test) for 3rd-8th graders coming up in April. Please continue to have your child/ren in school, attendance is important, it is hard to make up days when they are missing school which affects grades and interrupts learning. Please call and send excuses to Marsh too when you child/ren is missing school. Thank you so much for working with us, if any questions or concerns please come see me or email, Ms. Irowena Whitehair, Principal irowena.whitehair@bie.edu 505-786-6160
