Parent Involvement Committee

Crownpoint Community School has a Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) comprised of parents/guardians and school personnel. The PIC will convene to develop the School Plan for Parental/Guardian Involvement. Parents/guardians will be notified of the policy and plan either by letter or email.

We strongly encourage parents/guardians to be actively engaged in the planning, review, and improvement of the school's Parent Involvement Policy as well as in the collaborative development of any other plans, policies, and procedures. Upon request, a language interpreter will be provided for translations. The PIC policy and the subsequent plan will also be made available to the local community and updated periodically to meet the changing needs of parents and the school.
