Overview
Student Life at Crownpoint Community School
Navajo District Schools have several support programs to help students achieve academic success. We strongly encourage all students to utilize the opportunities available to stay on course with their education plan and for high school students to graduate alongside their peers.
One available program is after school homework support and tutoring. Students have the option to remain after school for dedicated homework assistance. Prior arrangements with a designated teacher or staff member are required. Tutoring services are accessible to any student facing academic challenges in their coursework.
Our Guidelines for Success are:
Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible.
T'iists'ozi Bi'Olta'/Crownpoint Community School will utilize CHAMPs to promote a proactive and positive approach to managing student behavior and creating an effective learning environment. Crownpoint will be an emotionally and physically safe environment in which all children can learn.
CCS Bucks will be used to reinforce positive behavior. A CCS bucks store will be opened once a month to provide short-term incentive. The end-of-year CCS Buck Auction will be held for students accumulating 20 or more CCS bucks. CCS auction guidelines will apply.
